It was a week before Christmas, but the elves got bad news. Santa had the flu and
wouldn’t be better before Christmas. So the elves started to panic. But the leader, an elf named Jolly, said we had to make a plan of how to give presents to everyone in the world.
They had a big meeting where everyone talked about their ideas of how to save Christmas. They ended up carrying out this plan. The plan was that one of the elves had to pretend to be Santa.
But Jolly had one problem: no one knew how to speak all of the language Santa knew. Jolly picked one of the elves named Chip. He was the tallest and the wisest in all of the elves. So, Jolly brought a language teacher named Bob. He taught Chip for five days. After day five Chip learned how to speak all of the languages Santa knew. Now Chip began Santa training which was hard for him.
Finally, after two days he was ready to be the temporary Santa. The night of Christmas Eve he used his magic to fly to the sleigh and shouted, “ On Dasher,” and flew out of the shed. The first country he went to was England which was fast. Then he went to all of the countries in the world except for one. It was Taiwan, so he went there. When he went to one of the houses one little kid woke up and said something in a different language. Santa was confused at first, but, then he remembered his training and answered him. He left, and went to the rest of the houses.
After all of the countries were visited he went to the North Pole . Everyone celebrated when he got back. They had a huge party with cookies and cake for everyone. The reindeers got hay cookies. They celebrated all night long. A week later Santa got better, so the North Pole was back in business.
